Dolman

A round or rectangular chamber tomb (“large table”) of early megalithic western Europe. The rectangular burial chamber usually becomes narrower and lower towards the rear; it is approached through two tall portal slabs which form a miniature porch or forecourt.

Spontaneous life energy, interchangeable with life column, plant, and mushroom, closely linked with the Indian lingam. In sculptures with the female body, the phallus enhances the life power of the Goddess Creatrix

Magic, wealth-bringing animal, sacred to the Bird Goddess, associated with waterfowl and the snake. Ram horns interchange with snake coil and oculi motifs
